My name is Brian Pope and I knew early on in life that I wanted to be a firefighter. I tried taking a different career path and I knew God had a different plan for me and in 2001 the plan was laid out. I attended Texas A&M for my basic fire academy and EMT-B certification. I began my career as a volunteer firefighter at the age of 22. I began my career as a career firefighter / paramedic in 2004 with a local department and worked there for 2 years. I was hired in 2006 by a local fire department in the Mid-Cities area and that is where I currently reside as a FF/Paramedic, Commander of the Honor Guard.. I am married to my wonderful wife, Sarah and have two beautiful girls: Lily and Khloe.
